Our Services
Comprehensive Eye Exam
A comprehensive eye exam includes a glasses prescription but is more than just that. First, we work with you to find the best prescription to fit your lifestyle, then move on to check the health of the front and back of your eyes.
Looking inside your eyes can reveal a lot about the overall health of your body. The eye health part of the exam can show us signs of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, auto immune disorders, cancer or tumors in addition to revealing eye diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, or retinal tears and detachments.
Contact Lens Evaluation
With a contact lens evaluation, we take our time to make sure we have given you the best lens suited for your eyes, hobbies and visual demands, since everyones eyes are different. We spend time checking the fit, comfort, and of course the clarity of your vision. Insertion and removal trainings for new wearers as well as follow-up visits are included with your contact lens evaluation exam fee to ensure you love your contacts.
A glasses prescription is always provided with a contact lens evaluation due to the importance of having a backup pair of glasses when wearing contact lenses.
Myopia Management
Myopia management is a treatment program to slow down myopia (near-sighted) progression. If myopia continues to progress, it increases the patient’s risk of vision threatening eye diseases, such as cataracts, retinal detachments, glaucoma, and myopic macular degeneration. Dr. Anchita and Dr. Neville are both certified to manage your child’s myopia using MiSight® 1 Day, the first FDA approved daily disposable contact lens to slow the progression of myopia. Schedule an appointment to see if your child is a candidate for myopia management.
Diabetic Eye Exam
Diabetic retinopathy is the leading cause of blindness among adults and often goes unnoticed by patients until it is too late. If you are diabetic, a yearly comprehensive eye exam is recommended. If left unchecked, diabetic retinopathy can cause permanent long term damage and vision loss. We will check the diabetic status of your eyes, monitor it yearly, and send a report back to your primary care doctor or endocrinologist to ensure continuity of care.
Optomap Digital Retinal Imaging
We try to offer our patients the latest in eye health technology. The Optomap scan provides an ultra-widefield digital scan of the retina. It’s quick and easy to use on patients of all ages. Many eye diseases can develop at any age without us knowing or experiencing any symptoms. The Optomap scan helps us find and detect eye disease to catch and treat various conditions early.
Lasik Refractive Surgery Co-Management
Tired of your glasses and contacts? We can provide you with more information on your options and refer you to the right place to get a LASIK/refractive surgery evaluation. We work with surgeons to provide pre-op and post-op care.
